The launch of the All-New Thar webcast started with mesmerizing journey or rather a walk-through the Thar’s timeline of 75 years by Dr. Pawan Goenka, on how everything about the Thar started. Dr Pawan Goenka also talks about Behram Dhabhar and his team who build the Thar and illustrated how they believed that Thar is an car that does not need roads. He also introduces the book Timeless Mahindra that illustrates many milestones and journeys achieved by the Mahindra cars.
Thar launch video further talks how much popularity did the Thar 2020 gained after it was unveiled to the world on social media and web analytics on 15th August 2020.
The cherry on top in the Thar launch was the story on how the 1st Thar 2020 was auctioned and sold to the winning bid of ₹1,11,00,000 by Mr. Aakash Minda and the amount has been used to support the fighters on the frontline against the COVID-19 pandemic.
