
Vigorously refreshed Jeep Compass to be revealed on January 7, 2021
Jeep Compass facelift was first seen in the 2020 Guangzhou International Motor Show that was held from November 22 to December 1. It’s officially announced that the Jeep Compass 2021 will be launched in India on Jan 7th 2021.
New design will have
- New headlamp with LED DRLs
- New grille
- New front dumper
- New Fog lamp housing
- New Alloy wheels
Jeep Compass facelift interior will have the following changes
- New Dashboard that will have double-stitched leather inserts
- 10.1-inch touchscreen with UConnect 5 that supports Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto & over-the-air updates.
- New AC vents
- Re-positioned HVAC Controls
- New Steering wheel
- Full Digital instrument cluster
While we will bee seeing a lot of aesthetic changes on the Jeep Compass 2021, the power-train remains untouched. New Jeep Compass will be having the same engines as the outgoing model which is 2.0-ltr diesel engine that produces 173hp & 350Nm torque matted to 6-speed manual or 9-speed torque converter gearbox. For the Petrol its going to be the same 1.4-ltr engine that produces 163hp & 250Nm torque with options 7-speed DCT gears.
Same engine is also seen in the Tata Harrier but this car competes with that of Skoda Karoq which has 1.5ltr 4-cylinder and Hyundai Tucson with 2.0ltr 4-cylinder engine.
It will also introduce an fresh new Olive Green Pearl-Coat Exterior Paint adding to the options of Vocal White, Minimal Grey, Brilliant Black, Exotica Red and Magnesio Grey,
There is also an 7 seater SUV that Jeep will be launching in the following year with an 2.0ltr engine placing it in the likes of the Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner & MG Gloster. However this Jeep 7 seater SUV wont be branded under the label “Compass” and will be having its own new identity.
