Urban Cruiser

Toyota launched its subcompact SUV, Toyota Urban Cruiser at a retail price of ₹ 8.41 Lakh that can rise to ₹ 11.3 Lakh for the high-end variants. The vehicle was launched under the Suzuki Toyota partnership and is expected to compete against models like Hyundai Venue, new entrant Kia Sonnet, Mahindra XUV300, and Tata Nexon, among others. Customers can get this vehicle in three variants, namely Mid, High, or Premium.

This is the first time Toyota is launching a sub-4m SUV in the Indian market, and it is the second model to be launched under its global partnership with Suzuki. The 5-seater is essentially an improvement of the Vitara Brezza. It has a stylish exterior double-slat grille, sophisticated trapezoidal fog lamp casing, LED rear lights, and a trendy frame to complement them. Toyota Urban Cruiser is also available in both dual and single tone shades. You can select from an array of color options, including Blue, White, Grey, Orange, Brown, Silver, brown/black, and blue/black, among other combinations.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser uses petrol exclusively and is powered by a K series 1.5 engine rated 105PS and 138Nm torque. One standout feature for this model is the transmission, which is available in both manual (five-speed) and automatic (four-speed) options. And if that is not enough, the automatic variants are fitted with a Battery and an Integrated Starter Generator to increase fuel efficiency.

Other outstanding features in the Toyota Urban Cruiser are smart playcast touchscreen, push-button entry, door speakers, Android Auto, cruise control, Auto AC, and many more. Toyota also puts more emphasis on safety. As such, they have added additional safety features like an anti-lock braking system, reverse parking sensors, and camera, front airbags for both the driver and co-driver and electronic brakeforce distribution to mention a few.
