Skoda Kushaq will be Skoda’s first car to be launched in 2021. The Skoda SUV will be powered only with the petrol 1.0ltr and 1.5ltr turbo petrol engines only.
We will learn the specification of the Skoda SUV at its unveiling which is scheduled on 18th MARCH 2021 which is then followed by its launch in the same month and delivery of the SUV is set to start in May-June 2021. So far what we have learned is that car will only be powered by petrol engines and will have a wheelbase of 2,651mm. With that wheelbase size this compact SUV becomes the longest and overtakes the competitors such as Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
The 1.0ltr TSI engines that we think will drive this SUV as well as learned to be have provided in the prototype, is also seen in Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Vento & Volkswagen Taigun. While 1.5ltr turbo petrol will be available with the 7 speed DSG transmission.
